Welcome to your first meeting of the
Central County Marketing Association
held at Knudsen's Ice Creamery. We hope
you find this meeting valuable to your
business and return often. We open this
meeting to all REALTOR® members of
Bay East Association as well as to all
Affiliate Members.
We only have a few rules to keep the
meeting lively and helpful for all who
attend.
We start promptly at 8:30 AM
and end sharply at 9:30 AM and
charge $3.00 for entry. Coffee & continental
breakfast is included in the cost of
your admission-step up to the counter.
If you want, you can pay $30.00 in
advance for 12 meetings, allowing you
to save money. TURN OFF YOUR PAGERS
AND CELL PHONES.
REALTOR® members may only bring
flyers for THEIR listings (generally
75 flyers are plenty). You will be instructed
to place them on the counter. Our Sergeant-At-Arms
are responsible for distribution throughout
the room. If an agent is not capable
of coming to our meeting, then their
flyers should not be brought here. The
flyers you bring should be picked up
by you after the meeting to conserve
paper.
No flyers being passed out should contain
any confidential information. Not all
who attend these meetings are REALTORS®,
AND HENCE, THE Agent version of the MLS
printout should not be distributed here.
During the meeting you will be able
to stand up and announce your listings
and buyers wants and needs. Be sure to
complete the 'Buyers Wants & Needs'
form for input onto our web site. Please
also give your contact information in
case someone has what you need and needs
to contact you later. You are not allowed
to announce other agent's listings, just
yours.
If you wish to obtain a letter stating
that you went the extra mile to pitch
your sellers home for sale at this marketing
meeting, Georgia & Linda will be
happy to give you that letter on your
way out. All you need to do is address
the envelope and put a stamp on it.
No shameless plug of your particular
brand of snake oil is allowed. Lenders
should not quote rate tables; title companies
shouldn't promote their services or fees;
nor should any other person at the meeting
plug their own company or product. The
only announcements made from the floor
should be "for the good of the group",
and not self-promotion. Sponsorship is
available to promote you and your company.
